MALADIE DES PLANTES PATHOLOGIE VEGETALE RHODODENDRON |
Résumé : | This volume in the American Phytopathological Society's series of disease compendia is designed to aid in the diagnosis of rhododendron and azalea diseases. It was written for growers, students, researchers, educators, crop disease consultants, advisors in government regulatory agencies, agribusiness representatives, members of the pest control industry, county agricultural and cooperative extension agents, area crop specialists, and others concerned with rhododendrons and azaleas. The compendium has many illustrations and uses descriptive terminology. Diseases are arranged according to causal agents. Infectious diseases caused by fungi, bacteria, viruses, higher plants, nematodes, and algae are covered in Part 1. Insect pests are the subject of Part II. Noninfectious diseases, caused by physiological problems, environmental imbalances, air pollution, pesticide toxicity, and nutritional deficiencies and toxicities, are described in Part III. Beneficial mycorrhizae are discussed in Part IV. A glossary, an aid to diagnosis, and an index are included. Selected references are cited in each section; they were chosen to include the most contemporary literature and thus are not all-inclusive. |
