Résumé : | The aim of this research thesis was to study the behavior of rare earth elements in lakes according to physical and chemical parameters such as : pH, organic matter and redox potential. This study was based on 164 samples from world lakes. According to this research thesis, rare earth elements are split in two fields which depend on their spectra. Physical and chemical parameters don't impact both fields in the same way. Indeed pH controls both fields whereas redox potential controls only one field. Concerning organic matter, it is not possible to conclude because there were very few samples available. Thus it is not enough to be significant. Access' data base used during this research thesis and previous ones was completed and has now 5185 rare earth elements' samples from groundwater, rivers and lakes. |
