AQUIFERE NAPPE PHREATIQUE CRAIE |
Résumé : | The chalk aquiferous is the biggest water natural resources of the department of Oise (60). Due to its large stretch, the aquifer is strongly exploited in the agricultural and industrial sector. Therefore, it is necessary to define its hydrogeological behaviour in order to ensure a long-term follow-up. This report aim at characterize this groundwater and to follow its evolution through time. The geophysics is the science aimed to understand the functioning of the earth and its membrane through physical proprieties such as the magnetic and gravitational field. Geophysical methods enable to characterize and study the behaviour of an aquifer. Geophysical and hydro geophysical methods have been used to study this chalk groundwater. These methods are electrical tomography, Magnetic Resonance Sounding (MRS), diagraphy (X-Ray …), pluviometry and data from piezometer. These methods of analysis were carried out thanks to the measurement instruments of the hydrogeological research platform of UniLaSalle Beauvais. Measures to characterize the chalk have been undertaken on UniLaSalle Campus which is located above the chalk groundwater. These methods except piezometry, are non-destructive which does not alter the quality of the water nor the surrounding geological layers. The correlation between geophysical methods as well as the previous bibliographical researches has made possible to understand the groundwater evolution and to characterize it. In fact, the results obtained locate the higher point of the aquifer on average 35m depth in a Senonian white chalk layer. The research and studies carried out also allowed following the evolution through time thanks to piezometric surveys. A continuous follow-up over the next few years in necessary to ensure the health of the aquifer and could be mixed with an analysis of the chemical properties of water. |
